A visit to the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History is a must and provides hours of hands-on-time for nature enthusiasts of all ages. Meander through woodland, salt marsh or on the shore of Cape Cod Bay along the Museums nature trails; explore life in the fresh and salt water tanks holding various indigenous residents, go birding from the comfort of a cozy chair, or view working beehives. The museum is housed in a 17,000 square foot building on over 380 acres of conservation land rich in bird and other wildlife. There are two floors of exhibits that include the Cape’s ongoing coastal changes, an aquarium, an osprey cam, nature presentations, and other family programs. Join the guided walks through diverse native habitats and enjoy the Cape Cod of old. The Museum also has a library and a Museum shop.
