The Freedom Trail Foundation

Walk into history with spirited costumed historic characters who lead visitors along the red brick line of Boston’s Freedom Trail. Famous patriots such as James Otis, Abigail Adams, and William Dawes tell stories about the people, places, events, and drama of the American Revolution, and share lively anecdotes about the vitality of contemporary Boston. Tours begin at the Boston Common Visitor’s Center on Tremont Street and end at Quincy Market, covering the following sites: Boston Common, New State House, Park Street Church, Granary Burying Grounds, King’s Chapel, the first public school site, the Old Corner Bookstore, Old South Meeting House, Old State House, Boston Massacre Site, and Faneuil Hall. Tours are approximately 90 minutes.
