| Included tour, tasting, and souvenir wine glass with the Go Boston Card |
Experience the charm and beauty of Newport Vineyards, only one hour from Boston, and ten minutes from the Newport mansions. This family-owned winery, which opened in 1978, features 50 acres of vineyards. The winery produces over twenty different wines, including chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, riesling, merlot, cabernet, cabernet franc, and dessert wines.
Learn about grape growing and winemaking with a guided tour of the vineyard. The tour also includes a behind-the-scenes look at the winery’s fermentation tanks, oak barrels, and Italian bottling line. Enjoy the fruits of the winery’s labor with a winetasting and take home a complimentary logo wineglass to remember your visit. Browse through the retail tasting room filled with local art and wine-related gifts.
Note: Tours are held daily at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Please allow one hour for both tour and tasting. If you are unable to arrive at the scheduled tour departure times, you are welcome at any time during the day for a tasting and complimentary wine glass.
While all ages are welcome, you must be 21 years of age to participate in a wine tasting.
