Entry with the Go Boston Card
Plimoth Plantation is a living history museum of 17th-century Plymouth Colony. Outdoor sites include the Pilgrim Village, where role-players transport guests back in time to 1627; the Wampanoag Homesite where Native people do the daily work of a 17th-century Wampanoag family while telling the continuing history of the indigenous people of the area; the Craft Center, where 17th century crafts are reproduced; and the Nye Barn exhibiting rare breeds of farm animals used by the British Colonists. The Visitor Center offers an indoor exhibit, three museum shops, and café dining. Mayflower II is a full-scale reproduction of the type of ship that brought the first Colonists to Plymouth. Moored near Plymouth Rock, costumed interpreters and museum guides tell the story of the 1620 voyage and the history of the reproduction built in 1956. Note: Present your Go Boston Card at either attraction to receive tickets for both Plimoth Plantation and Mayflower II.
